Dr. William Biaggi

Dr. William Biaggi is a highly skilled physical therapist with extensive expertise in orthopedics and sports medicine. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science, specializing in athletic training, from the University of Florida’s College of Health and Human Performance. He further pursued his academic journey by completing a Master’s degree in Health Service Administration at the University of Central Florida, followed by a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine.

In addition to his robust academic background, Dr. Biaggi is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), which underscores his commitment to enhancing athletic performance and rehabilitation.

With a professional focus on orthopedics and sports medicine, Dr. Biaggi is dedicated to helping individuals recover from injuries and improve their physical function through evidence-based practices and personalized care. Dr. Matthew Cooksey

Matt Cooksey is a highly skilled Dual Credential Physical Therapist (DPT) and Athletic Trainer (ATC) with a passion for injury management and performance enhancement. He holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and a Bachelor’s in Athletic Training from the University of Central Florida. Matt’s extensive expertise is further enriched by certifications in Sports Acupuncture & Soft Tissue Mobilization (SASTM), and Titleist Performance Institute (TPI).

With professional experience spanning sports teams, rehabilitation centers, and private practice, Matt offers a comprehensive approach to therapy that effectively addresses both immediate recovery needs and long-term performance goals. He specializes in sports rehabilitation, injury prevention, and functional movement analysis. In addition, his manual therapy skills, soft tissue treatment options and TPI certification enhance his ability to optimize golf and sports performance, making him a versatile asset to his clients.

Matt is committed to a personalized approach, combining the latest research and evidence-based practices to deliver customized care. He focuses on not just recovery but also education, empowering clients to prevent future injuries and improve their overall physical function. Dedicated to professional development, Matt continually engages in continuing education and remains at the forefront of advancements in his field. Physical Therapist

Dr. Daniel Flynn

Daniel Flynn is the dedicated Clinic Manager at our Waterford Lakes location, where he brings a wealth of expertise and enthusiasm to his role. With a strong background in both athletic training and physical therapy, Daniel plays a crucial role in overseeing student clinical internships, organizing student volunteers, and supporting aspiring professionals in athletic training and physical therapy.

Daniel’s impressive educational journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Central Florida, culminating in a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of South Florida. He is a licensed physical therapist, a board-certified and licensed athletic trainer, and a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the NSCA.

His professional interests are deeply rooted in sports medicine, with a particular focus on bridging the gap between traditional rehabilitation and the return-to-sport process. Additionally, Daniel is passionate about wellness, including fitness, nutrition, and mindfulness.

Outside of his professional life, Daniel enjoys a rich personal life with his spouse and two daughters. A former five-sport high school athlete, he remains active by working out at the gym, golfing, playing basketball, and enjoying volleyball. Daniel also has a creative side, which he expresses through cooking and various “maker” projects.

Physical Therapist

Dr. Darshan Ghayal

Darshan Ghayal is a dedicated Doctor of Physical Therapy at Orlando Sports Medicine, where he has been providing expert care since the summer of 2023. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Florida, following a strong academic foundation with a Bachelor of Science in Health from the University of North Florida, where he concentrated in Exercise Science and minored in Business Management.

Darshan holds several industry-specific certifications, including Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Certified Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-EP) from the American College of Sports Medicine, a FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine, and an Emergency Response for the Athlete Certification. These credentials underscore his commitment to excellence in sports and human performance coaching while also having a focus in rehabilitation. 

His professional interests lie in enhancing the abilities of high-level athletes, with a particular focus on soccer technical development. Darshan is also a performance coach at a local performance club, where he continues to gain valuable experience working with elite athletes.

A lifelong soccer player, Darshan began his journey in the sport at the age of four and has competed at high levels, including in the Olympic Development Program and ECNL. Beyond sports, he has a passion for playing the violin, a pursuit he has enjoyed since the age of eight, and he delights in building computers during his leisure time.

Kim Ranachowski

Kim Ranachowski is a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and NASM Certified Personal Trainer, having graduated from Seminole State College of Florida in 2023. Her educational background in physical therapy, combined with her NASM certification, allows her to offer a comprehensive approach to both rehabilitative care and fitness.

With experience in various healthcare settings, including outpatient clinics and rehabilitation centers, Kim is skilled at designing personalized treatment and fitness programs. Her holistic approach addresses both recovery and overall wellness, helping her patients and clients achieve their health goals.

Outside of her professional life, Kim leads an active and diverse lifestyle. She enjoys hiking, running, practicing yoga, swing dancing, weightlifting, gardening, and cooking. Additionally, she has a deep interest in history, particularly World War II and Civil War history, which fuels her curiosity and broadens her perspective.

Kim’s passion for history complements her commitment to health and wellness, inspiring her to encourage others to lead balanced and enriched lives. Through her blend of expertise, enthusiasm, and empathy, Kim is dedicated to making a positive impact on her patients’ and clients’ journeys toward improved health and fitness.
